In a country with a violent colonial and patriarchal heritage and a current chaotic political situation, writing has been more than ever to resist. In this forum we will discuss the resistance of three women who bring themes related to lesbian, indigenous and black representation in their literary work.

Authors

Cristina Judar

She is a Brazilian writer, journalist and comics, author of the comics “Lina” and “Vermelho, Vivo”, and the short story book “Roteiros para uma Vida Curta” (Honorable Mention – SESC Literature Award 2014). She wrote the poetic prose project “Questions for a Live Writing” during her studies at Queen Mary University of London (2015). She exposed her works at the Guadalajara International Book Fair 2018, Mexico, and at Printemps Littéraire Brésilien 2019, Sorbonne Université, France. Her novel “Oito do Sete” was a finalist for the 2018 Jabuti Award and winner of the São Paulo Literature Award 2018. She also co-organized the anthologies “A Resistência dos Vaga-lumes”  (The Resistance of the Fireflies)” (2019) and “Pandemônio: nove narrativas entre São Paulo – Berlim” (Pandemonium: nine narratives between São Paulo – Berlin) (2020).

Fernanda Rosário

She is a Brazilian author and student of Journalism. She publishes her texts on Instagram, a space where her words find home. She writes poetry and short stories about affections, black representation and social inequality. Author of one of the short stories in the anthology “O vazio não está nem quando é silêncio (2020).

Julie Dorrico

She is a Brazilian author and doctoral student in Theory of Literature at PUCRS and has a Master in Literary Studies. Author of “Sou Macaxu e outras histórias (I am macuxi and other stories)” (2019). She won the Tamoios / FNLIJ Contest (2019) and has created the pages @leiamulheresindigenas and @literaturaindigenar on Instagram and the YouTube channel “Literatura Indígena Brasileira”. She is also a Literature researcher of indigenous authors in Brazil.

Fernanda Rosário é estudante de Jornalismo em Bauru. Publica seus textos no Instagram, espaço em que suas palavras encontram lar e aconchego.
